Faces of Lung Cancer

In Memory of Jonathan Lang

Jonathan Lang, of Manhattan, NY, died of non-small cell lung cancer on March 22nd, at the age of 51, after a brave fight with the disease for almost 4 years.

Jon was a runner, skier and golfer in addition to other athletic activities he loved to do.

JON NEVER SMOKED IN HIS LIFE!!!!

Jon never complained, and he lived his life almost to the fullest, despite the disease, even continuing his charitable work like his pro bono fight against the death penalty.

But, most of all, Jon was a great person. He was a loving, devoted husband to his wife, Joan Bertin; the most wonderful father to Claire and Eve; a fabulous brother to Patti and Rosemary, and a very devoted son to his mother, Miriam. Oh, let's not forget his total love and devotion for his best pal, Wally, his Border Terrier.

Jon will be sorely missed.
